IP core evaluation pacakage

if I will buy the IP core evaluation package, its including the matrix card also. This matrix card will be ARINC 818 transmitter or ARINC 818 Receiver.  if its Transmitter, can we give DVI input signal to matrix card. OR customer has to configure whether its is Tx or RX? or It will work both function?
